What a stunning autumn style shoot! Jenny Bedard Photography shared with us this gorgeous woodsy "Fairy Tale in the Woods" session all the way from Minnesota. The beautiful, sophisticated florals and refreshing colors caught our eye, and we just had to share. We are in love with the color palette and inspiration for a fall wedding! The wedding of Will + Justi was a reflection of them, says their photographer. The couple got married in the church that Justi grew up in then had a noon reception in their friend's backyard, on the lake. The beloved Hamburger Man catered the reception and everyone enjoyed an afternoon outside under the big Texas sky. What we love most about this wedding are all those gorgeous handmade details! We love a good DIY wedding - with ideas brides can actually use. Get all the deets below (and get that Pin button ready!) La Vie le Gage Couture Wedding Planning sent us this rustic ranch wedding, detailing their vision for it (and refers us to where they found each element, below!) The wedding took place at Spruce Mountain Guest Ranch in beautiful Larkspur, Colorado. The bride, Jenna, wanted the wedding to represent the "love of nature's beautiful colors and textures" with a modern twist, keeping with traditions. The couple, along with their wedding planner, decided on a color palette of Amazon Jungle, Dill, Mustard Seed, Walnut Bark, and Elegant Lace - all colors of an aspen forest in autumn. La Vie le Gage describes the details and style of the wedding: "The Bridesmaid dresses reflected the aspen leaf with the golden yellow color, Snap Dragon, from the Dessy Collection. The groomsmen wore classic tuxes with just a hint of a custom camouflage fabric in the handkerchief pocket, which brought the color palette out with style! The decor included a combination of rustic and elegant elements that included silver, crystal, glass, fabric, wood, candles, unique props and much more to convey the warmth of both styles. Jenna also incorporated some DIY projects to reflect her personal touch - using dark green river rock as place cards and designing the candy table for her guests." We personally love the wooden touches and the oversized centerpieces. Yellow is a lovely color choice for a rustic/woodlands style wedding - whether it's in the fall, spring or summer. Spring is one of my favorite seasons for many reasons - the beautiful, bright-colored flowers that pop up everywhere, the busy wedding planning season (which means a busy season for us!) and the fact that my birthday falls in the middle of this wonderful season. Color can scare many brides. The thought of having more than one or two colors in your wedding may seem like a reach out of your comfort zone. Meet one couple who dared to break all the wedding color rules and incorporated their own offbeat taste and colorful personality into every aspect of their wedding. Then, see our ideas for adding a little color to your big day (without the panic attack!) Handmade, Colorful Wedding by Cory Ryan Photography The handmade wedding of Joelle + J in Bee Cave, Texas was truly unique, according to their photographer, Cory Ryan. "Being invited to shoot a wedding for these two uber creative pump project artists was quite an honor. The groom hand made boutonnieres for himself and the groomsmen - made with a branch, succulent air plant and buttons in shades of opalescent pink and purple. The bride wore a lovely and classic strapless dress delicately ornamented with just a touch of sequenced flowers and leaves. For the ceremony, Joelle constructed a hanging wall of multi-colored yarn poms that were so original and provided a perfect photo backdrop." "Brightly colored lanterns set the stage for the venue. After the ceremony, kids were invited to have fun at the arts and crafts table. The couple constructed the single most amazing centerpieces I may have ever seen. Spray-painted horses and dinosaurs in pastel candy colors were surrounded with table numbers and frames with nested birds atop and both real and fake pom flowers inter dispensed."
