Emily + Derek chose a springtime outdoor wedding at the beautiful Belle Rose Maison venue in Conroe - with wedding photography by Amy Watson Photography. The couple chose the theme of "Breakfast at Tiffany's" with pastel colors throughout (just look at those bouquets!) and classy vintage decor. They also served guests a nice brunch that included farm raised egg omelets, fresh fruit, blueberry pancakes and fresh juice. The gorgeous cake completed the look and was created by one of our featured vendors, Dream Cakes. Lots of ideas to take away from this one!

Every once and awhile, we like to share an out of state wedding on the blog that has caught our attention. La Vie le Gage Couture Wedding Planning sent us this rustic ranch wedding, detailing their vision for it (and refers us to where they found each element, below!) The wedding took place at Spruce Mountain Guest Ranch in beautiful Larkspur, Colorado. The bride, Jenna, wanted the wedding to represent the "love of nature's beautiful colors and textures" with a modern twist, keeping with traditions. The couple, along with their wedding planner, decided on a color palette of Amazon Jungle, Dill, Mustard Seed, Walnut Bark, and Elegant Lace - all colors of an aspen forest in autumn.

La Vie le Gage describes the details and style of the wedding:

"The Bridesmaid dresses reflected the aspen leaf with the golden yellow color, Snap Dragon, from the Dessy Collection.  The groomsmen wore classic tuxes with just a hint of a custom camouflage fabric in the handkerchief pocket, which brought the color palette out with style!
The decor included a combination of rustic and elegant elements that included silver, crystal, glass, fabric, wood, candles, unique props and much more to convey the warmth of both styles. Jenna also incorporated some DIY projects to reflect her personal touch - using dark green river rock as place cards and designing the candy table for her guests."

We personally love the wooden touches and the oversized centerpieces. Yellow is a lovely color choice for a rustic/woodlands style wedding - whether it's in the fall, spring or summer. Props to the photog, Kim Nodurft Photography, for the lovely images!

We love it when brides go traditional and choose to have a simply white wedding! This Cypress bride chose a beautiful white lace gown and a white vest + tie for her groom. For a pop of color, the couple chose red, yellow and orange floral. The little white elements - the white lace the bride's bouquet was wrapped in, her white ballet flats - gave the wedding of Bethany + Ben a fresh and sincere look. The beautiful images by Jeremy & Kristin captured all the sweetness of this wedding!

The reception was held at Northwest Forest Conference Center where the couple danced the night away - even in the rain! How romantic.

The adorable wedding of Lauren + Philip centered around their love for baseball was definitely a grand slam wedding captured by a winning team; Maryanne of Memories by Maryanne Photography hit this one out of the park. The details of their colorful, offbeat reception, held at Minute Maid Park in downtown Houston, captured the spirit of America's favorite pastime - from the popcorn tossed at the couple as they exited to the baseball diamond used as a guestbook. Grab a bag of peanuts and continue scrolling.

The baseball field gave the couple an opportunity for super fun post-ceremony pictures. The beautiful historic lobby (old train station for downtown Houston) provided an elegant, columned backdrop for the rest of the evening. How stunning!

The details make this wedding so sweet and the memories special. This one is definitely pin-worthy and makes us ready for baseball season!

The color yellow has been on my mind this week. Maybe it's because of the beautiful Monday wedding we shared or breathtaking bridals we posted on Tuesday. Of course, it could be because the sun is shining down on The Woodlands, Texas right now and being outside just makes my heart sing!

When I see a Kimberly Chau Photography wedding in my inbox, my heart skips a beat because I know absolute gorgeousness awaits! And this wedding is no exception.  Dana + Peyton's wedding at Olde Dobbin Station was absolutely adorable! I love all of the DIY elements and sweet yellow + white color scheme. And the cake by Dream Cakes... Love!

Hello beautiful! I am so excited to share this inspirational wedding from Virginia by Katie Estes Photography. There are a so many gorgeous details such as the bride's anemone bouquet and signs with the sweetest sentiments. I love what the bride and groom did in lieu of a unity candle. They locked the padlock on a door and tied the keys to balloons and sent them in the air. So creative + so symbolic! Have you seen other creative unity-candle replacements?
